Appointment of Commercial Director

Alistair McMaster joined Miller Roofing as Commercial Director in May 2011.

From studying Quantity Surveying part-time in the early 1980s Alistair has worked with several national contractors such as Tarmac, Norwest Holst, Tulloch and Ogilvie in varying management QS roles and gaining a high level of expertise in construction. He also worked as a client's Project Manager for Next Generation Tennis Clubs (formerly David Lloyd) where he was responsible for the design and construction of numerous multi-million pound facilities throughout the UK. He then managed his own building company for three years until he was asked to take his company and expertise to Ogilvie Construction for a second time where he ran the General Works division. His last role before joining Miller Roofing was in setting up a West (Glasgow) office for Perth based Hadden Construction. He now teams up again with Alan Hilditch - the two having worked successfully together in the late 1990s forming the backbone of Tulloch's Commercial Management team.

Alistair will report directly to MD Alan Hilditch and supplement Simon McGee in all financial matters, as well as lending support to all other departments.
